Self-Murder

Text: 1 Samuel 31:1-13

The role of the church is to comfort the disturbed and to disturb the comfortable. As we touch on a sensitive topic today, that of suicide, may we remember that our understanding in this painful area must be informed by the truth of God’s word. May this serve as a conversation-starter as we seek to love those in pain with the love of Him who knows our pain.
