Christ is Revealed!

Today’s text shows us disciples of Jesus who were discouraged by the crucifixion and unrealized expectations they had of Jesus. But then Christ reveals himself to them through the Scriptures, his bodily presence and the power of his Spirit. May our eyes also be opened and our hearts filled as we devote ourselves to being students of Christ through the means of grace he makes available to us.
