We understand that we are saved by faith alone, but saving faith is never alone. That is to say that our works give evidence of our saving faith, as a tree naturally bears fruit. Today’s text unpacks how godly wisdom and the deeds of humility and meekness that flow from it in the life of the believer serve as a compelling witness to the gospel in the midst of the evil and disorder of this present world.
