The Revelation of God and His People

Text: John 14:1-21

Whether in Nahum, as we were studying the last few weeks, or Isaiah or here in John’s gospel, all throughout Scripture, God is at work revealing Himself to His people. In today’s passage we see Jesus reveal Himself as one who is planning and preparing to receive His people, and as one with the authority to speak to us in imperatives, calling us to a life of obedience as evidence of our salvation.
