Single-mindedness in Status: A Paradoxical Reversal

To be arrogant is human; to be humble, divine. We are instructed from the Word today that, rich and poor alike, we take great comfort in our high status in Christ, even as in humility, we relax our grip on any riches or abilities we might be tempted to take pride in.
