Give Us a King!

Text: 1 Samuel 8

In Israel’s demand for a king, we can recognize their deeper longing, for a servant king who will judge with equity, for the Messiah, for Jesus. All Scripture points to Christ, and our wandering hearts are restless until they find their rest in Him.
