Born and raised in Northeast Ohio, James Pavlic completed his undergraduate work in Computer Science from Kent State University. After graduation, he began working in the computer software industry. During this time, he met his wife, Amanda online in late summer. Within a year they were married. After about eight years of marriage, they moved to Charlotte, North Carolina for James to complete his Master of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary. James has continued his work in the software industry while he pursued his degree. In 2016, James and Amanda, along with two of their four children moved to Morgantown to serve as Assistant Pastor of Mercy Church.
Some of James’s favorite authors are St. Augustine, John Calvin, Jonathan Edwards, and Graeme Goldsworthy. In his free time, he enjoys walking or hiking with his family. Most importantly, his passion is to see the the lost come to know the Lord Jesus Christ, so he would be exalted in the Morgantown region, our state and country, and throughout the entire world!
